Q: How does the reversing aid work?

A: When the reverse gear is selected, the control signal sounds. The detection of obstacles and their signalling starts immediately. This detection is continuous and lasts until you pass the obstacle safely or select another gear.

If there is an obstacle in the controlled space behind the vehicle, the acoustic signalling will start working. When the obstacle is at the distance of 160cm, the signalling sounds should beep in the interval of around 1 second. This interval is continuously shortened with closing of the obstacle until the distance is 30cm, the beeping then changes to a continuous tone (the signal to stop).
